Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Tocktoy doesn’t collect, sell or share your personal data. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics. What you make in the app stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account.

Who we are

Tocktoy is an app for iPhone and iPad. In this policy, “we” means the developer of Tocktoy. You can reach us at support@tocktoy.app.

Information we collect

None. Tocktoy doesn’t ask you to create an account and doesn’t send your information to us or to anyone else. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code, and we don’t use your data to track you across apps or websites.

Information stored on your device

Your clock settings, days and countdowns, sticky notes, receipt lines, typed lines, white-noise mixes, collected stamps and similar content are stored on your iPhone, in the app’s own storage shared with its widgets. A few usage counts (how many times and on how many days the app was opened, and when the Pro page or its offer was last shown) are kept on the device to decide when to show the Pro page and its discount offer. Deleting the app deletes them.

iCloud sync

If you’re signed in to iCloud, Tocktoy syncs your settings and the content listed above between your devices through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, in your own iCloud account. We can’t see or access it. Recordings and transcripts are not synced. You can turn this off in Settings › your name › iCloud.

Microphone and speech recognition

The recorder face uses the microphone only when you start recording. Recordings are saved on your device (and in your device backups). When you ask for a transcript, Tocktoy uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition; summaries are made by Apple’s on-device model where Apple Intelligence is available. Audio and text are never sent to us or to a server; they leave the device only if you share or copy them yourself.

Notifications

Reminders for your days and sticky notes are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. They are not sent through any server.

Photos

When you choose to save a share card, Tocktoy asks to add an image to your photo library. It can’t read your photos.

Motion

Some faces react to how you tilt your iPhone (for example the pool). Motion readings are used on the device while the face is open and aren’t stored.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Tocktoy only checks with the App Store whether a purchase is active; we never see your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy applies to the App Store.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts and loads nothing from other sites. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and reliability.

Children

Tocktoy is suitable for all ages and doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

Because we don’t hold your data, there’s nothing for us to export or delete. You can delete your content in the app, turn off iCloud sync, or delete the app at any time. If you have a question about your privacy, email support@tocktoy.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
